Albion Advanced Nutrition has developed a method for the fortification of soy milk using its patented Ferrochel® Iron—ferrous bisglycinate chelate. The fortification method applies to both refrigerated soy milk and shelf stable soy milk. Ferrochel has been proven effective in various forms of food fortification including cow’s milk, goat’s milk, yogurt and margarine, exhibiting or­ganoleptic compatibility with these food products.
